RIMHCO Annual Refugee & Immigrant Mental Health Training

This presentation is designed to deepen your understanding of the unique experiences and needs of refugees, while strengthening the ability of mainstream professionals to deliver culturally-responsive services and to this population. This virtual training offers 3.0 free CEUs through the Ohio CSWMFT Board.

Switchboard’s mission is to provide comprehensive support and guidance to professionals and organizations involved in refugee resettlement. Switchboard is implemented by the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
The BSBB trainings infuse culture and diversity throughout foundational workshops on suicide prevention and mental health. Community members learn to act as eyes and ears for mental health and suicidal distress, and to connect individuals to help or support.
